How to get shot at sunset in Arizona

An Arizona police officer has been killed after he was shot in the head in a rural area of the state, authorities said.

The shooting occurred about 3 p.m.

Friday in a remote area of Tucson, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northwest of Phoenix, the Tucson Police Department said in a statement Saturday.

No arrests have been made, according to the police department.

The officer, who has been identified as Officer Michael T. Bowers, was the second police officer killed in Arizona this year.

On Aug. 21, police officers in Phoenix shot and killed a man who had a knife on him.

Authorities believe the officer was responding to a domestic disturbance call when he was confronted by a man armed with a knife.

The man fired at the officer and Bowers was struck in the torso, the police statement said.

Police said the suspect was identified as 28-year-old James Robert Johnson, who was wanted for domestic violence in Arizona.

The statement said police believe Johnson was acting alone and that they believe he was motivated by domestic violence and drug activity.

Tucson police officers are investigating the shooting and said they were working to determine whether the officer’s actions were justified.

“Our hearts are broken,” Mayor Kevin Faulconer said in an earlier statement.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and all those affected by this senseless act of violence.

Authorities said Johnson was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead. “

Tucanos community needs more police officers like Officer Bowers who keep our neighborhoods safe and who have the confidence to put their lives on the line to protect us all.”

Authorities said Johnson was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead.

The Tucson Police Chief said in the statement that Johnson was the third officer to be killed in the city in 2017.

The shooting is the latest in a string of deadly incidents in Arizona, a state that is often described as one of the most gun-friendly in the nation.

In 2015, a man fatally shot a police officer after the officer pulled him over in a traffic stop.

In 2017, a sheriff’s deputy shot and wounded a man after a chase that led to a shooting.

In 2016, a woman who was shot and injured during a robbery attempt in Arizona was killed in a hospital.

In 2016, police fatally shot and seriously wounded a teenager who was trying to rob a gas station when he shot and fatally wounded another man in a nearby park.
