The sun is a brilliant light, and when it’s shining on your skin, the best way to prevent burns is to get out and do some sun protection.
In New York City, a sun protection product called sunrise shack has been selling for about $10 a bottle for about a month, according to the company’s website.
Sunblock in New York has become a popular sunscreen choice, said Sarah Lea, the co-founder and chief executive of Sunrise Health, which sells products from Sunrise Shack.
The company also sells sunscreens in stores.
“If you’re in a place where you’re getting in the sun and you don’t want to get in the water, you can always go in the beach,” she said.
“But if you want to stay in the office, you’ll want to go to the beach.”
Sunscreen can help prevent sun-burn, but it may also make your skin more sensitive to the sun, said Lisa Anderberg, a dermatologist in Los Angeles who practices at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
The more you get sun exposure, the more your skin is exposed to UV rays, she said, adding that it can also increase your risk of skin cancer.
Sunscreens can also make it harder to regulate your skin’s ability to control its own UV rays.
“They work as sunscreen, but they’re also causing damage,” she added.
“You have to think about it as a sunscreen and not a sunscreen.”
You can also use a moisturizer to prevent the sunburn that can come with sunburn.
But if you use a lot of sunscreen, you’re likely to over-apply it, Ander, who’s also the owner of the dermatologist-recommended salon Sunset, said.
For the average American, the sun exposure that they get in New England every day is about one hour, and the amount of time that they spend indoors is about an hour and a half, she added, according and ABC News Health.
“I think the key is to apply sunscreen as little as possible, to the extent you can,” Ander said.
It can also help if you’re already sunburned, because sunscrews can protect your skin from sunburn and help you control your skin.
If you have a sunburn, your skin should be red or blistered and swollen, and you should feel some itching or redness, according the American Academy of Dermatology.
If it’s not red or swollen, the skin should feel fine, according Ander.
